What do we do?
UThink is dedicated to providing resources and information to underserved and underrepresented communities. From teaching evidence-based classes about mental health to having in-person and virtual events, UThink lessens the gap in this inequality by educating individuals on mental health and well-being, holistic health practices, and overall public health protocols and procedures.
“Anyone can have an idea, but only the courageous bring them to life”
~ Deasia LaFleur
It all starts with an idea…
UThink was created after our founder, Samuel Marin, was inspired to promote change in his hometown of Watts, Los Angeles. The LA Native has been exposed to social and economic inequalities, food insecurity, and public health crises and aims to eliminate these topics and more that coincidentally plague black and brown neighborhoods— starting with the greater Los Angeles Area
Let’s connect and engage those around. To create the community we all deserve & need.
